Unfortunately, Coach L's preseason prediction that Rodney Miller would win the Most Improved Player in the conference did not come true this season. I guess Coach L will try again next season with this prediction.

https://hurricanesports.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=12534 His bio does not include that information but it does highlight his academic excellence. Maybe Rodney is on the team for his academic work.

FYI, I am not the defense lawyer for Rodney Miller. I am not making excuses for Rodney Miller. My point is there are other factors and people responsible for the lack of contribution of Rodney Miller in his time at Miami. Coaching staff of the basketball team (skill development) and the...

I agree that it is not about playing 40 minutes but my point was players will leave a school for more playing time and with playing time, you will find out what type of player the person is or will become. Rodney sitting on the bench for two years is partly due to Rodney's skillset but the...

He played his senior year at Oak Hill and I don't think he started. Rodney is 7'0 tall and that was the main reason why he got his scholarship. I doubt there is a Rodney Miller highlight video on Youtube, which says a lot.

Rodney was given a scholarship to Miami so someone on our coaching staff saw something in him to made them think he could contribute to the basket ball team. What level of the contribution is the key?

That is a tremendous amount of work and I appreciate your efforts. The only difference in Rodney and Nysier is the opportunity to play. Nysier has played significant minutes while Rodney has not. IMO. I did learn however they Nysier has made the Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List 3 years in...

If you double those numbers then Rodney is averaging 10 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block per game. Nysier Brooks averaged 8 points and 6 rebounds last season at Cincinnati. Sit one and play one for Brooks is bad unless Brooks gets the waiver to play this season. Then he and Miller will compete...

All I am saying is that Rodney Miller has not played enough for me to totally know what he can do. In fairness, Coach L let Manu Leconte and James Palmer sit on the bench then they left to become pretty good players at Baylor and Nebraska. I am not saying Rodney will be all conference, I am...

TBD. Rodney Miller has never played serious minutes like Brooks did at Cincinnati. I didn't know 8 points and 6 rebounds were impressive. He is 6'11 and he is playing over 25 minutes a game, what else should we expect.

This is the only highlight I have found of him in college on Youtube. I have a feeling he is on par with Rodney Miller.

Technically, they could both leave as grad transfers right now and use their remaining eligibility at another school. Let's just be proud that Miami graduates their players.
