That’s why they need to be able to transfer with no issue. Players fall out of favor with coaches for a bunch of reasons, can’t really control that.

If they haven’t signed with an agent, I imagine that’s true. It would be hard to get in game shape, though.

The players can opt out at no penalty. They would continue as normal students with the option to return or transfer. The kids who are playing want to play and understand the real (but relatively low) risks.
