    He is more explosive than fast IMO. Excellent stop-start quicks for a big guy.

    It's going to be fun to see him battle with Crowley for that role. From what I've seen, Crowley is more physical and McIntosh is more dynamic. Both of them are smooth, big athletes.

    Who said McIntosh is settling? He can play RB here. I love him as a prospect and pure athlete (which is more than just speed). I just think his athleticism plays up more at LB given his body type.

    Funny you mention Beason. He is a guy who ran the ball successfully in high school and switched to defense in college. DJ Williams is another. McIntosh is probably a better runner than those guys, but I can see a similar trajectory.

    Here's one way to look at it: compare McIntosh's athleticism to Shaq and Pickney. Now compare his athleticism to Homer and Dallas.
