They SHOULD be because they're the big, state school in one of the best recruiting areas in the country. Alabama is right next door and crushing it, and probably has less resources as a school than UGA. The fact is they aren't, and there's no excuse for it.

Resources and recruiting base. I'm not saying NOW. Both programs should have been dominating since the 60's and never let go. I think it's hilarious that both their fanbases think they're among the national elite. They aren't. But there isn't a good reason for it.
