    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

I do wonder if the correct call was made on the Clarett strip of Sean Taylor. Clarett seems to have about 80% possession of the ball when the play ended and Taylor had about 20% possession. IDK who’s supposed to get the ball under that circumstance, or if the rule book is even clear about it.

    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

To be honest, it's extremely obvious that Glenn Sharpe commits a face mask penalty against Chris Gamble on the 4th and 3 while the ball is still in the air. Especially under the pre-2008 rules, which outlawed even incidental face masks. If OSU fans want to argue that their title isn't tainted...

    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

Almost everybody (presumably including the scorekeeper) thought it was ruled a fumble. It wasn’t until after the game that the referees admitted it was actually ruled a turnover on downs.

    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

I never have heard of another game where the refs have thought it was a 4th and goal when it actually wasn’t.

1981? Seriously? That's worse than Bamaesque.

    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

The 4th and 14 was borderline offensive pass interference. I never really noticed that before, to be honest. I wouldn’t complain that much about the no call there if they didn’t call PI on the 4th and 3.

The Orange Bowl 48-0 nightmare was under Shannon in 2007.

    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

IDK if Coker even gets one more year with 2 national titles. Expectations were rather high and he was on the hot seat for consecutive 9-3 seasons. That was before he slipped to 7-6 and had the FIU brawl. Anyway, how would a few more years (or even another decade) of Coker have been any worse...

    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

What play in OT did they have a delay of game? OSU had a delay of game on the regulation play they always whine about, but I don’t remember a delay of game in OT.

    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

What really annoys me the most about the OSU game is how OSU fans always cite the Chris Gamble third down no-catch call to argue that they should have won in regulation. Even though it looks to me like the play clock expired before the snap. Seriously, go to the 0:27 mark of the video. Clock at...

    Bigger heist- 1988 or 2002?

I generally go with 1988 because I thought the entire ND game was badly officiated, while I don’t remember the OSU Fiesta Bowl being that badly officiated except for the pass interference at the end.
