My "narrative" would be that DeeJay Dallas is an AVERAGE player if you're going by the numbers. You guys want to paint him as a leader because you think he tries harder than everyone else, because he talks a big game on social media. He is not viewed as a leader in the locker room.

He had 95 yds of which 50 came on the TD run where he broke a couple tackles (very good run). 4 ypc other wise.

I said he is average by every metric and that I think that Davis, Lingard, Burns, Chaney, & Knighton are all better and more explosive than him. I hope DeeJay leaves so that it doesn't cost us one of those five other guys.

This is all I'm saying and people take that as me bashing him. Shaq has been average as a player here and has produced much more than DeeJay has, but people love DeeJay because he's finessed the **** out of everyone through social media.

Go back at watch how many times DeeJay whiffs as well.

He really hasn't. He's the definition of average as a college RB. That's the entire point that I'm trying to make. People say he's "great" because they like him.

II remember the 50 & 62 yard runs, but I also remember the losses as well. I definitely wouldn't consider an average VT team as a "big game" though.

DeeJay has everyone fooled into thinking he's been some great player for us. He's mastered social media and knows how to solicit the emotions of the fans. I'll give him that.

Davis isn't slow at all, he just wouldn't be in the "fast" category to me, because he never really seems to pull away from anyone. His 10 yard burst through the line is elite though that's why he'll always have a bunch of 10 to 19 yd runs.

Lingard Davis Chaney Knighton I hope DeeJay leaves. He is average at best. Lingard, Chaney, & Knighton would be able to house it any time they touch the ball and Cam is really good. Burns is slept on by everyone, but I think he's a really good back as well.

Seems like Hickson only wants to play 1 RB exclusively, so it will be interesting with 4 really good guys on the team.
