The reason why they don't spend time talking hoops is because Miami hoops isn't a money maker for media. Want to not get eyeballs? Write a Miami basketball article. In fact, throughout the years, fans have shown an antipathy to the basketball program. People care more about football recruiting...

A plus athlete is always welcome, everyone doesn't have to be able to shoot, especially when Miami has multiple shooters. Miami needs bodies, and if Mitchell is down to play D and use his athleticism to create opportunities for others, I'm all for adding him.

The core group from last season just didn't fit together as well as he(or anyone else) thought. Wong and Miller made the entire thing work, once they were gone, you saw the holes in the configuration. Injuries didn't help and once things fell apart, there wasn't anyone there to stop it.

Congrats! I hope your nephew has a great experience in CG, he's playing for a legend and should be part of a solid team this season.

Players do this, were you up in arms when Wong went through the process multiple times, but returned? Just because you don't know anything, doesn't mean that Omier isn't talking to L and the staff as he moves through the process. Fans need to realize that just because people aren't spilling...

You are cherry picking games to justify your point. I could do this with every single recruit in the country. I've seen games where Flagg didn't look great, doesn't mean I wouldn't take him in a heartbeat, nor down him as a player. Amazing how the dozens of games where he looked like the...

No one is asking him to be a finished product on day one. People forget that guys like Wong and others were thin coming in, got minutes anyway, and they weren't nearly as developed offensively. This is a guy that can score at all three levels, I expect him to do most of his damage in the...

Ton of places. Pack is a guy that could easily start at a mediocre P5, he would be a star in a lot of places merely because he can shoot from anywhere.

It's likely that both will play starter's level minutes, but L will have certain matchups for each. It's similar to last year, when Pack and Bens split minutes(Wong was always out there late as the 2 guard), and L went more to Bens late in games, when he needed defensive stops. People forget...

How big do you think the typical college guard is? Keep in mind, Miami has won big with guards smaller than what you just listed. If you have a 6'3'' guard, a 6'5'' and the smallest is 5'11, you are doing okay, especially if you have a guy like Wooga come back. Honestly, if you need stops, you...

Wait for the entire roster to take shape before jumping to these conclusions. Keep in mind, we don't know whether Wooga comes back, we don't know who else is added in the portal. Bethea isn't a smurf, he's got solid size, although like most freshmen, isn't a finished product physically. It's...

I can confirm Miami is working hard on transfers right now..

Bethea isn't coming here to not play heavy minutes. L wouldn't have recruited him, if he didn't believe that he will play heavy minutes. There's no point in sitting a guy like that, because it's unlikely you won't have him for multiple years. L wants veteran guards, to not only fill out the...
