In all fairness, I will agree with @pacusmc regarding the AR15 threads. Specially the one where he first was offered. There were quite a few posters saying that he looked great because he was playing peewee league comp. Others thought his 40 times were too slow, even though he was torching guys...

He had a pretty good prep career, but not dominant by any means. He had over 1000 yards and 12 TD’s in high school, which is good, but nowhere near elite.

That’s why you don’t judge what a kid can/can’t do off of 7-on-7 footage. Kids can take forever trying to juke guys at the line in camp settings. That does not happen in real game situations, and especially not while having to run through traffic.

Shows you just how poor the coaching evals have been for way too long at the U. That staff prioritized the guys that ended up being busts, over the dudes that ended up being ballers. The evidence is irrefutable.

I would also add that guys like Peter Ariz didn’t help with his hyping up of Pope from Paradise Camp. I’ve said various times on CiS threads that Ariz was a very poor talent evaluator.

In before all of the porsters that were saying this kid was plan B or C start eating their crow. Been saying since Macho first shared his sophomore tape with us last year, kid is electric and has all of the tools to be a great WR for us. Hope that he's a part of #storm18
