The blue chip % and average player score tell a better than story than class ranking which can be skewed by larger classes. A pretty significant jump in blue chip % for the #6.5 average ranked team. ....And let's not forget Chip Kelly had far more on field success in a more competitive PAC12...- CFLCane

It flucuates slightly year to year but generally top 8 classes have more "cant" miss higher ranked prospects who test through the roof and are evaluated on the national level. Classes ranked 9-25 are peppered with kids who are ranked high but generally require more devolpment and require good...- CFLCane

Hes on the cusp of elite recruiting. But the difference between a #9 ranked class and a #25 ranked class isnt a big as most make it out to be. Those are marginal improvements. Stringing together top 8 classes is a diff story.- CFLCane
