Maybe it’s not the best idea to have an elite target in on an official during paradise camp. There is waaaay too much other stuff going on and the staff has to spend time on all the other targets. Manny needs to re-evaluate having OV during paradise.

We have been messing up for years trying to recruit guys at positions we think they will play instead of just telling them what they want to hear like Saban, Urban and all the big dogs do. If he wants to be a Cb than recruit him as such and get him on campus.

Wouldn’t be surprised at all. I tried to reach out to my boy who played at UT and usually knows ahead of the public what is going on and he has been silent on my question about Lawrence. Not sure how to read into that.

Yes, Corn attended Ensworth. I didn’t live up here at the time but it looks like the school either moved or did some major upgrades since Corn was there.

I’m not sure where they live but he plays at one of the top private high schools in the area. It’s 28K a year to attend for retail students. I’m sure he is on scholarship there. Pretty much anywhere around Nashville within a 30 mile radius is booming.

I think Manny will get enough. I don’t think we will ever recruit like the top 5 schools and I have said it multiple times before. We won’t have on paper Bama style classes but we all agree that some south Florida kids who may be 3 stars or 4 stars can be just as good.

Just shows how off base the staff has been at times. Surtain was wrapped up to Bama a month prior and Campbell had been Georgia for months. Not saying we shouldn’t have took our final shot, but this staff were fools to think they were still in it.
