I just wanted to ask a simple question for those that live in Miami and know the area. Did not have any clue how vitriolic this post would get. My opinion, for what it's worth (that and a quarter gets you cup of joe) boot the **** Marlins and take back our land, re-configure that stadium for the U.

Thank you. I grew up watching the Canes of the 80's and was jealous of the atmosphere I saw at the Ob on TV for all the games I saw. I have been to a number of games elsewhere and for other teams, but nothing ever seemed to match what I saw at the OB. That is why I asked.

It popped up just yesterday on my stat of the u feed....so pipe down....

So what about Marlins Park? That ground is stall hallow ground, right?

Is it a logistical problem or a political problem. I look on Google maps at Tropical Park and it looks like it would work real well. But, again, I dont live there so I don't know the area.

I see this pop up from time to time, where certain influential past players talk about having an on campus stadium or converting Tropical Park. I don't live there so it is hard to know what is really a possibility. Do we really have no room for a stadium on campus? Is Tropical Park a possibility?
