I wouldn’t get caught up in WHO because they are talking with more 5* kids than 1-2. We know Stone, Stewart, JJ, Ellis, Blount and I would not be surprised if 2-4 others get in the discussion before ESD. Point being, we are in a good place and should expect to see the class improve before ESD.

If we are going with this analogy, we have a bunch on the line and need to get to ESD. We are trying to get another on the line who is currently hooked by another boat.

Jones is a true NT, IMO. Blount is a 5/3T not sure the connection. I would rather keep Jones over Russell.

just remember- every team is going to have lots of kids in the portal looking for nil excluding the big dogs that pay big and win big. when the ncaa goes back to 25 per class, the portal will cool off some.

We have 6 real seniors with no years left. We have a few nfl guys. We plan to sign 25-28 HS kids. Portal out is how you get to 85. Likely needs to be 20-26 depending on nfl.

Two are already in. I can name 8 more that will never play at Miami that should portal out. The other 10-15 could be tougher.

That is still unknown due to Blount being able to reclassify.

NIL is a write-off. Gifting a kid $$ isn't but when you already make enough money to throw it around, you don't care as much about the write-off as you do getting caught doing something illegal.
