That's because them dudes were running 4.3s and low 4.4s. Luke kuechly is 6'3 238, cj mosley 6'2 240, deion jones 6'1 227, telvin smith 6'3 215, and etc.
Mccloud aint that big. 6'2 235 is what the nfl is looking for. Mccloud problem isn't getting to the ball. It's when he is out in space. H we was better last year because finley took those responsibilities in space.
Jennings, steed, wilder, joyner, huff, and brooks are the LBs that have been signed since the big 3. 3 of those guys didn't even play LB in hs because they were DEs.
Finley didn't out perform mccloud. Finley was basically used as the coverage guy while zach played the early downs. Finley 28 tackles, 5tfls, and 2 picks. Zach 44 tackles, 4.5 tfls, 1.5 sacks.
You missing the point. Those guys wasn't the 100th ranked LB coming out. Even pickney who was a 3 star was ranked top 20 at his position. Flagg is 47th at his position and mathis is 54th. So to say those dudes would be a good haul is crazy.
LB recruiting is a issue. Yall can try to hype those other dudes up but shaq was highly ranked coming out of hs. Zach was a 4 star and 247 really liked him and had him at a 94. Mike was a 3 star but espn and 247 had him right there as almost a 4 star.
Striker is a safety that's playing in the box. Vt calls there position the whip. It's the same as striker. Vt's whip is listed as a 6'0 185 pound safety. Tcu calls there position the weak safety. Blake baker ran a 4-2-5 at la tech and they just listed 3 starting safties without the special name...
I mean striker isn't a LB. Its a extra DB which is why you see frierson there now. Iook at a guy like branch. I don't see him beeing 215 like finley. He may end up at 190-195.
