Luke Nickel is the real deal

I agree. But right after the hit the TV people decided that was a good time to run the feel good story about how he surprised his moon at age 8 when nothing flustered him in the game of football. They should have been checking him out to make sure he was OK rather than caring about how he...

Luke Nickel is the real deal

For those who watched the game on TV, was it just me or did the announcers seem to favor Walton all game. We heard so much about how good Walton has been all season, and about their QB , and even at the end it was all about Walton’s turnovers and mistakes. It was almost as though they were...

Luke Nickel is the real deal

I didn’t but was admittedly not paying attention to him. As such, he did not jump off the screen. I did notice the same thing last night as at the game i attended earlier this year, Ryan Ghea is a complete non-factor. I am clueless as to what makes someone a 4 star because there were 3 stars...

Luke Nickel is the real deal

Ok I will write it. We need QB’s for the next 2 years because Nickel is taking the job as a freshman and keeping it for 3 years.

Luke Nickel is the real deal

Easy young man to like. He clearly loves football.

Luke Nickel is the real deal

That would be a great game to see. I liked Nickel’s demeanor on the sideline and interacting with his teammates as well. The Milton coaches also did a good job of identifying the weak links in the Roswell defense and then exploiting the advantage. But it all only looks good because Nickel...

Luke Nickel is the real deal

I don’t know about baseball..I actually live closer to Roswell where the game was played. I only know where the young man goes to school and that he is a UM commit.

Luke Nickel is the real deal

He can give you (1-2) of those important runs that keep drives going; 6-8 yards. He ran a few options and kept the ball so he isn’t afraid to run inside. But I don’t see designed runs in his future in college. But he’s not a statue, definitely more mobile than TVD, Garcia and Emory.

Luke Nickel is the real deal

Then UGA must already have a target in his class. The state of Georgia can easily produce 2 great QB’s in the same year. Trevor Lawrence and Juston Fields were the same year. UGA went after Fields and Clemson went after Lawrence. Because the talent is obvious when you see this young man play.

Luke Nickel is the real deal

I just returned from the Milton v. Roswell game and we have a really, really good QB commit in Nickel. He has talent around him at RB and WR but throw after throw was a dart. He went off his first read frequently, but once he decides, the ball is out quickly with a compact delivery and on the...
