Dare I say that maybe some of the South Florida talent is over hyped just because these kids play in SF? How many local 3/4 star WR’s have we recruited in the last 5 years have gone on to do absolutely nothing here before transferring out? 0 star recruit Colbie Young from Binghamton, NY has...

Brother if he’s below .500 overall after 3 full seasons, you can expect those top 10 recruiting classes to be long gone. I agree it takes time but year 4? In todays CFB landscape where you have the resources and flexibility with your roster, it shouldn’t take several years to start competing.

With the majority of Manny’s guys gone and Mario’s ability to use the portal and NIL to completely overhaul the roster, what’s going to be his inevitable excuse for going 6-6 in 2023? Will be it be his own talent? How come Lincoln Riley can go into USC and immediately make them a CFP contender...

I wasn’t even going to respond to that ridiculous accusation. I’m not even a big believer in TVD but I know he can be a great college QB and the offense is hopeless without him.

I think the new DC is going to help a lot on that side of the ball. He seems legit and his scheme fits our talent. There are enough returners like Leonard Taylor and Kam Kitchens to look forward to. LB should be improved with Mariougoa and maybe some younger players Mario recruited can step up...

I was a big fan of Gerald Willis the following year. Dude was mean and lived in the backfield all season. I was very surprised he wasn’t able to succeed at the NFL level.

Winning 8 games really isn’t that hard, dude. We were 7-5 in 2021 and the schedule included legitimate title contenders. Also opted out of a bowl game we would have likely won to get to 8 wins. I agree with you on some things you’re saying like James Williams. He might be a 5 star athlete but...

A lot of people actually said the same crap about lack of talent when Golden was here. Defense had future NFL players Dion Bush, Artie Burns, Rayshawn Jenkins, AQ Muhammad, Gunter, and pro bowl LB Denzel Perryman. There are others I can’t name off the top of my head. 4/5 OL from the 2013 team...

Yep. And people hating on Manny’s recruiting apparently give him 0 credit for TVD and bringing in D King as a transfer.

    Our recruiting classes since 2018 per 247: 2018 - 8th 2019 - 27th 2020 - 17th 2021 - 11th 2022 - 16th Middle Tennessee State 2018 - 104th 2019- 85th 2020 - 93rd 2021 - 121st 2022 - 108th Now I don’t buy a lot of the recruiting hype, but there’s no way you’re going to convince me programs...

Not sure why. He came in the same year as Brevin Jordan and it was clear he was the lesser of the two.

100000%^^^^ Mario is likely the better long term solution vs Manny but he needs to focus on what’s he’s good at, recruiting and OL stuff. Stay far far away from offensive play calling and philosophy because he is NOT(and never was) a great offensive mind.

But Al Golden didn’t win with all the talent he had in 2013-2014 so what’s that say about him? He can recruit but can’t win? Sounds awfully familiar! I think Golden benefited a lot from recruiting kids who were old enough to remember Miami football dominating CFB. Duke Johnson was going to play...

I don’t think anyone will argue Miami is ultra talented right now, but we’re sure as **** talented enough to beat MTSU, Duke, UNC, and all the other ACC chumps who school us regularly. A big part of what makes a good coach great is how they get the most out of what they have. Last years team...
