Sooo true! Candle isn't the only one. Frost, was the second coming of Jesus when he returned to Lincoln. He is an alum. He led them to a national championship. And, they couldn't get rid of him fast enough! Everyone knew he was getting fired this year and Nebraska couldn't even hold out longer...

Toledo usually recruits the best classes in the MAC. Candle has also won 2 Mac championships in 7 seasons. If he does take a demotion, you have to think he believed Toledo has done as much for his career as possible. To me, it's not just about his career, it's about his staff. If he makes that...

This is a legitimate concern. Because our Offense was so blatantly bad, many overlook how disappointing our defense was as well. Kevin Steele isn't a slouch but we can do better. I can think of one DC, who has worked for Mario before, who would be better at in-game adjustments and recruiting...

Not true at all. Look at the Big 12 lol. Everyone runs a version of the air raid The issue with running a finesse type of offense is that you practice against that offense everyday. So, when you play a team that focuses on physicality, it ends up being a long day.

It honestly seems like there are 2 Scott Frost; pre and post Nebraska. Pre-Nebreska, he was one of the top offensive minds in college and a rising star. He took over a 0-12 team and, 2 years later, led them to an undefeated season. He even did a piece about his faith when he was an OC at Oregon...

Tee also had a son that played on Clemson's football team (Amari Rogers). I'm sure he could easily reach out to Rad if he was interested A combination of Tee Martin (WR) and Scott Frost (QB/OC) would be unimaginable! As in, I can't imagine Tee Martin leaves his position in the NFL, to take a...

With Jacurri at QB and our young OTs, our personnel fit his system very well. His system fits what Mario has been quoted to want on offense.

This would make the most sense. During his stops at Eugene and Orlando, not much was said about his personal life. Then suddenly, in Lincoln, he's a drunk and a hound. He was a rising star up until he returned to Lincoln.

Which is why Arroyo (OC/QB) and Coley (WR) makes sense. Mirabel isn't going anywhere, and I'd assume the same for Field and Smith. Arroyo has worked with Mirabel, and most importantly, Cristobal before. I'm not saying is my choice but I could see this happening.

Whoa I honestly thought it was him. The rumor floating around, last year, was that Candle wanted to bring his own guys, and Mario said no. I figured/hoped Mario had called again and conceded to Candles demands...... a man can dream right?

I'd love to see Mullen here, in theory, but practically, I doubt the marriage between him and CMC ever works. Mario is a grinder. He employs and recruits like minded individuals. Mullen has always come off, to me, as the complete opposite. He knows his stuff and the results speak for themselves...

I'm starting to think Mario doesn't see some of his descisions as part of the problem. We took forever putting an all star staff together and didn't even make a bowl game. Smh I really liked anae

Wilson's offenses have been, statistically, some of the best in the country. I don't think he's a HC, but, his results as an OC, at multiple P5s, speak for themself. Plus, I'm sure a few years along side Ryan Day hasn't hurt him either. I don't know why he'd consider a lateral move but I...

    1) Tom Herman 1b) Dan mullen 2) Andrew Sowder 3) Robert Anae I don't think Mario would consider an OC that doesn't believe in 'pounding the rock' (no shade, I just can see it his preference. Tom Herman offer alot that Dan Mullen does, without being that much of a weirdo. He recruits well...
