I've given up hope that we'll have a new OC this season.

He was never posted in here as a candidate for Miami, but Bobby Petrino is headed to UNLV to be their OC.

I'm guessing right now he's getting Group of 5 looks--like Tom Herman got or Clay Helton after he was let go. If Mullen has one good year as coordinator he'll be right back in play for Power 5 jobs. WIll Muschamp did that after UF fire him. Went from one season as Auburn dc to USCe HC.

Also added Joe Brady even though I don't think he has any interest in returning to the college game.

Busy weekend, just getting around to updating the OP to remove Phillip Montgomery who was hired to be Auburn's OC.

Would be an ELITE hire if it gets done.

Another name, Phil Longo, crossed off as he was picked up by Wisconsin. Really frustrating watching these quality candidates picked up by other schools while we do nothing.

Crossed out Tom Herman, Scott Satterfield and Jason Candle as they are no longer options with Herman taking the FAU job and the latter two being retained.

I never was able to confirm who called their plays. I think somebody, somewhere in this thread said that Golesh does call the plays for Tennessee but I'm not sure.

2019-2021 with it sounding like he was neutered in 2021. So really, only two years coordinating his own offense.

I don't even think he's worth mentioning. All reports are he hates recruiting and reportedly took a lower paying QB coach job instead of a college OC. I don't expect him to leave the NFL for college.

Give it six years until his buyout is more reasonable.
