It certainly feels like we're getting close to where coaches salaries/buyouts are so high that a lot of "schools" aka boosters would be better off just directly buying the recruits.

Who will be the first college/sponsor to create an NIL deal that pays the 85 man roster a real salary. (yes i know colleges can't deal directly) 40k a year for 85 man roster is only 3.4 million a year. That'll barely buy you a G5 coach on his way up, but it would send some shockwaves through...
