If the betas win and Manny is retained, will Mas and Ruiz keep their money away from UM? I hope so.

If Mario is on the fence we should straight up pursue Mirabol and offer him a co-OC title and a fck ton. I want him anyway but maybe that pushes Mario even more. Seems like he’s interested.

Could see Louisiana to replace Napier or even maybe Baylor to replace Aranda too. We will see. Even if he doesn’t get a P5 spot you are right there’s going to be so many openings trickling down he can probably land a great HC spot for himself.

I really hope not VT but I can kind of see that

    Here's what I know

I agree. It’s just pathetic that winning the coastal has become this big goal.

And with Lane I would argue that by the time there is enough talent here to compete for a championship he will leave for a better job and we will be looking all over again.

The problem is that his personal life will be way more obvious and seen in Miami than in Bama. And our reporters aren’t under the school payroll. Sht will get out and be blown up here if anything happens.

He started the game and finished the game. I thought he missed more than one drive. Either way they put up 20 and lost. My point is going recruit heavy or scheme heavy each has its flaws. I’d take Mario OR Lane in a heartbeat.

    Here's what I know

That is my point. Mario will always have the better roster due to his strength at recruiting. Lane has to depend more on scheme.

    Here's what I know

A lot would. But it is an example of him not being able to scheme up points without Corral. He is a great coach and a great option. I’d be happy with him or cristibal.

He was a very highly rated recruit. How did he do against Auburn without him?

I would then factor in the risk management of a character guy like Mario vs having to worry about an off field issue with Lane. Then I would factor in the chances each stays and provides long term stability if they achieve success here. I’d be happy with both but that is why I lean Mario.

    Here's what I know

I agree with you on the first point actually. The second part of your point I will say two things. 1. If he can consistently land too 8-10 classes I think that is a strength in itself although not in scheme. 2. I think his O Line strength is important to have especially in south Florida where...

    Here's what I know

While I agree generally we are talking about a pretty small sample size. I think generally if you get a HC that can recruit like Mario you take those odds, win the coastal every year and run into a CFP.

And Mario was missing Thibideoux and Flowe and still beat Ohio state at the shoe. He has been without Flowe all year. And his OC was rushed to the hospital right before the Stanford game. I was not trying to sht on Lane. Great coaches still lose games. I’d love it if we get either. I lean...

Lane inherited the number 1 QB in the nation. How did he do without him against a bad Auburn team this year? Put up 20 points and lost. Nick Saban isn’t walking through the door. If we get Mario OR Lane that is a massive win at this point.

    Here's what I know

Especially when Nick Saban and Kirby Smart are dying for the job. You can’t make this sht up.
