Completely agree. Which is another reason Id lose my **** if we took James if others I want more are still on the board. Who knows. Maybe he turns into a HOFer. Im just not seeing someone worthy of a top 15 pick.

Maybe I can be more clear for you. I would love another safety. But as I said, we have 4 or 5 units on this team that needs someone in my opinion before safety....RB being one of those units. Let me know if I need to be any more clear.

Im not opposed at trading down at all this year if some team really wants to sneak in with our pick and we feel like we can get a top player on our board a little later. Problem is this front office has shown to be pretty bad imo understanding trade value of draft picks.

In the context of our roster? We have bigger holes at rb, ot, te, dt and lb. id even rather have another cb of 1st rd talent. If they want to take a safety in later rounds i have no issue. But we have bigger needs

I have more faith in this front office on draft day than I did with the Kathy Ireland years. Now free agency, trades....still a lot of head scratchers with this front office that drive me mad.

Id put Smith 1st. Then Vea, then Edmunds. Obviously both areas of needs. Safety is one of the few units where we dont have a glaring hole so I really hope we dont go there with James. That would be a horrible pick.
