I disagree.... I think Redwine is better than guys like Greg Threat and Mo Sikes that started for us before. But it is a more ideal situation if he came off the bench. An athlete like Deejay Dallas at FS would be like having another Jaquan Johnson in terms of impact from the safety position.

A lot of that has to do with us not getting consistent pressure in the backfield due to all the flagrant holds that went uncalled. Lack of depth is an issue at cb, but not lack of talent.

Our entire secondary is very talented already so I disagree with the opinion that they suck. But I also disagree that moving Deejay to defense would be a reckless decision. We have plenty of dynamic athletes on offense that can replace his production on that side. He can still play on offense...

It depends on the progress of Amari Carter and Derrick Smith. Both have the talent that they should be better than Redwine or atleast on par with him this season. If that's the case moving Redwine makes sense. But in terms of overall talent having DJ or Dean at cb is an upgrade over Redwine...

He's a beast... I would still have packages to use him on offense and PR. But I think there is too much talent for us not to be able to find more than one person that can replace the high impact DJ brings to that side of the ball. I would play him on offense, defense, and special teams but...

I believe Dean is going to be a heavy part of the rotation this year, but we need another non freshman athlete for him to compete against for that starting job. Losing Malek young was a big loss in that regard. But Deejay Dallas is talented enough to put some pressure on Dean for that #2 spot.

I think he would start at safety over everyone not named JJ.

He's one of the fastest players on the team.

For the record I think Ivey, Blades, and Bethel can play immediately but it's always better to have more depth to have to compete against. Even if Deejay Dallas moves to safety, it upgrades the talent next to Jaquan Johnson.
