My favorite defensive player for last cycle. Kid is relentless and more gifted than many of the so called “experts” were given him credit for. Him, Bain, and Lightfoot (with a little more weight) are gonna terrorize opposing backfields.

All I heard from Mario is the same as every season that he’s been here. Too much talking and not enough results. It’s time to prove it on the field and win some games.

Both Emory and JB are not UM caliber QB’s. Emory is a tough kid and JB is a good athlete, but that doesn’t make them good QB’s. If any of them have to play meaningful snaps this season, we are screwed.

The Jacurri Brown experiment at QB should end. He is not, and will most likely never be an accurate enough thrower to excel. He hasn’t shown enough either as a running QB to think that he could be stellar there. Not fast or quick enough. We also better pray that Emory doesn’t win the backup QB...

I think he’s a very talented back, just do not see the Cook comparison. Go watch Cook’s HS highlights. He was leaving dudes in the dust against the best comp in the nation.

Very talented back, but not in the same galaxy as Cook. He was an absolute freak of nature, with speed (before his knee injuries) that was generational. Dude was responsible for all of the losses that we took against the Holes while he was there.

That’s the dude that we needed to land. Amazing get by Mario and staff. @Ghandi was right on the money with his RB assessment a few days ago. This is the RB that will scare defenses on gameday.
