If you aren't familiar by now, Evidence Njoku is the younger brother of Miami Hurricanes tight end David Njoku.
Evidence is a 2017 commitment and will come to Coral Gables as a wide receiver. In comparison to his brother, Evidence seems to be a bit lankier than David at this stage. Both are similarly long striders, but Evidence has shown better top end speed at this stage. David's stature is freakish for his athleticism, but Evidence continues to grow into his body. He is about 6-4, 195 pounds right now and will benefit greatly from a college weight program. A redshirt year is likely.
A couple of things to note before you watch these clips...
1) This is only three games-worth of highlights from THIS SEASON. That is all he has available on his HUDL page.
2) He transferred to a new school over the summer. It seems like his route tree is extremely limited right now -- but that is not uncommon for receivers at the high school level.
3) It's tough to completely grasp what Miami is getting in him because we need to see more. But what I see in these clips is a big, coordinated receiver with an elite catch radius. Weight room, weight room, weight room. That will be his key.
