I hope he's a take. He just strikes me as one of those guys who exudes pure passion and energy and will run through walls to be a Cane. As much as I hate making the obvious comparisons he certainly reminds me of another guy we were quick to write off but ended up coming up huge for us on and off the field. Natural swagger, good athleticism and a desire to prove everyone wrong go a long way. Let's not act like this would be a courtesy schollie. It wouldn't.

Don’t think they would take him and Tennison in the same class, considering Francois is also probably a safety down the line.

Think Edelman. Not the fastest, nor the tallest, but great route technician who can't be covered consistently. You can be fast and tall, but if you can't break free from coverage that's a huge problem.

I agree here to a degree, though I hate to make such comparisons.

Edelman still doesn't get props from some of these wide out "gurus"...he just keeps open and racking up yards.

I'm in no way saying he's at the same level as Edelman now, but going up against the top CB's in high school he's an Edelman type.

**** dude looks like he was in a literal train wreck.

I bet he was making brothas look silly out there and they didn’t take too kindly to it and nailed him in one on ones with cheap shots and extra curriculars.

Sign this kid up.

You take a kid like this all day everyday. Because no matter what he will win some games for your team. He is going to work hard and push others around him to be better and worst case scenario I bet he would be a beast on Special Teams!

I agree with the take him crowd. I will never claim to be a recruiting guru and rarely venture my opinion on targets but something just stands out about this young man. He has heart for days. Gets open consistently against the top corners and has sure hands. On top of that he WANTS to be a cane badly. If a berrios can deliver on investment, why not him. I gotta agree with many here. This cat would be well worth the scholarship and have all of us really proud in a few years. Having said all that, I've been wrong many times just because the wife said so.... So who knows?

Edelman is built like the Michelin tire man. I know Restrepo is only 17 yo, but I don't he ever gets that stout. But yeah, they both have moxie.
