Just looked around and no confirmation. It was feared to be an ACL, but also mentioned he had a knee brace on one of his knees for most of the fall. Best case scenario is that he aggravated an old injury and was shut down. Hopefully that's the case otherwise I don't think he'll ever be meaningful here because of the talent already on the roster and the incoming talent as well.

Be careful with that thought cause many people on this board said the same thing about David.

Id love to get an update on this. Was one of my favorite prospects coming in. Going to be everything we hoped Streeter would be.

Doubting that bloodline is stupid.

should give him time to do a few cycles, bulk up, and become our next great move TE

Even if he doesn't get a first or second string role, I think he could be a valuable player on the roster. This staff love to keep fresh bodies on the field (which is why we saw Langham and Dayall play so much). Even with the incoming talent, we don't have many guys with his type of size. He'll see meaningful snaps once he's healthy.

Saw him limping around campus a month or two ago. Sure looked like an ACL.

Already? Jeez, you guys bury bodies quickly.

There's a significant difference between an ACL limp and a torn cartilage limp. Takes a trained eye to diagnose the difference. Bravo!

Looking forward to what the next Njoku will do at Miami.

Hopefully he'll be full go in '18.

It was an ACL

Any word on how the recovery is going?

An ACL can mean a range of things.

From a partial tear to much worse. Recovery time and being back to fully 100% can be anything from 6 months to 2 years depending on the severity and whether other ligaments were also involved.

Then you have freaks like McGahee.

+1 for the update, -1 for the content.

Frigging sucks, hopefully he gets fully back unlike DO.

Any word on prognosis for when he can at least get back to full normal activity?
