 had the same thought.... Morris, Rojeer, and Kayak are not exactly the three guys I want giving my QB1 advice
Well, Morris did beat gator. Rosier did damage with his feet, beat noles and won the Coastal, Brad, well Brad really used the TE well and we need that. Those other QBs played with teams full of 1st round pick and some guys wearing Yellow Jackets now. These guys played with talent like we have now. Kid must have showed coaches something. This huge game for Manny and Tate was the safe pick.

Why not? 2 of them actually made it to the NFL. I’m not sure if you are aware, but most qbs never get nearly as far as Kaaya and Morris did.

Lmao posters here be getting upset at actual QBs with game experience giving advice when their unemployed asses give coaching advice to the coaching staff every day

ROFL, and why they trying to talk down on rosier, that man made plays on the biggest stage(Fsu game 7 losses in row, snapped that, and in the meantime we got a moron on here trying tell us on that game winning catch from rosier to langham, the ball placement was in the wrong spot, LOL,notre shame game, and V-tech) UM has been in a long time. So rosier's advice to williams is valid and holds weight, especially since he's the last 10game winning starting qb UM has had in over 14years up to that point if im correct.

Also, when anybody tries to justify or brings up the worst qb in UM history to date, in ryan clements i know 2 things, either they are Italian, or they dont know **** about football. That guy was trash, had some of the best defenses in UM history and this guy found every way he could to lose games, and we talking when UM was a well oiled machine. I remember sapp bout to swing on em, especially in that nebraska game, sapp was out their killing and pin ballin those nebraska o-linemen, defense gets a turnover and the very next play clement's sorry *** hands it right back to them, even that defense couldnt save private ryan's pathetic qb play, **** was pure trash at the qb spot!

Ryan Clement was one tough SOB and a good QB actually, Covington was more physically talented IMO though . I digress, Clement was nothing to scoff at .

"Clement took over the starting role full-time in 1996, leading the Big East in pass efficiency with a 147.1 rating. Clement was a leading candidate for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award in 1996 and was also an All-Big East Conference selection. He led the Hurricanes to the Big East title shared with Virginia Tech and Syracuse (all finished 6-1 in conference play) with an impressive performance in the final game of the season at Syracuse. Clement threw for three touchdowns to help Miami defeat the Donovan McNabb led Orangemen 38-31, earning Big East “Player of the Week” honors and giving Miami a share of the Big East conference crown. Miami finished the 1996 season 9-3, with a win over Virginia in the Carquest Bowl and ranked 14th in both the AP and coaches polls.
1997 proved to be an extremely difficult year for Clement and the Hurricanes. Miami, beset by the scholarship reductions due to NCAA violations under the Dennis Erickson tenure, and forced to play several true freshmen as starters in key positions, fell to a 5-6 record, their first losing record since 1979.
Clement led the Miami Hurricanes in 30 regular season games as the starting quarterback over three seasons, and led his team to a win in the 1996 Carquest Bowl in the only post-season game he started. He received the Walter Kichefski Football Award, selected by his coaches as the Miami player that most represents the characteristics Kichefski lived by: respect for fellow man, loyalty, dedication, sacrifice, motivation and inspiration.
Clement finished his career at Miami among the all-time statistical leaders in the following categories:
  • Career Pass Completion Percentage Minimum 250 Attempts) - (443 of 747) - 59.3% (4th All-Time),
  • Career Pass Completions: 443 (4th All-Time),
  • Career Pass Attempts: 747 (4th All-Time),
  • Career Passing Yardage: 6,004 (5th All-Time),
  • Career Total Offense: 5,659 (5th All-Time),
  • Career Touchdown Passes: 43 (6th All-Time)."
Didn't Clement play one year at West Virginia all beat up so Covington wouldn't burn his redshirt?

Kirby Freeman would've beat these last few fspoo squads. Its laughable that no one recognizes this. Everyone's so quick to say how bad willy & the semenholes are but we give a qb who needed a miracle adjustment by a very limited wr praise like hes the messiah...
It blows me away that people think this was a pin point throw on 4th down by a qb thats not accurate from 8 yards. It was a jump ball pass

Nothing but. Not only was it a jump ball but it was a horribly underthrown one at that & that's straight from Malik's mouth. He was trying to go outside shoulder by pylon which he had open all day. In the end of the day it worked out & we got the w. Results are all that matters but people need to give the wr just a lil credit for once.

You are right. Apparently you are that big of a ****** moron to go professing to people your almighty knowledge of football & what you remember so well. Apparently you suffered one too many hard hits to the head & now it all makes sense.(the whole italian comment) Your fried green tomato of a brain thinks frank Costa & ryan Clement are the same person. You racist **** you. #1 ryan Clement never played 1 single snap in any game while Warren was still on the team, let alone in that orange bowl game. That was frank Costa... #2 was nothing even similar to a well oiled machine on any team clement started for. We were beyond busted up those first few years with butch. But what would I know right...

With a separated shoulder . I think that was the game where Tremain Mack won the game with a blocked punt returned for a TD . May be mistaken on whether it was the same game but yes he did play at WV with a separated shoulder, he was a gamer .
I think you are correct.

U obviously meant frank all along and that's why you said the italian comment... it's okay to admit when ur wrong. That's the only way you wouldnt necessarily be the hoe *** duck faced fvck boy that u are. The whole miami football thing you really just making yourself sound stupid. Now you have a nice day baby girl

I hate to pile on rosier but I’m looking at some of the decision making in this game by malik and the throws he was making and man it was terrible :sanford2: . Had he hit a few of them throws early in the game when we were **** near in the redzone on back to back drives that game would have been completely different. The adjustments some of the receivers had to make in this game and others were bad and shouldn’t be the case at all. Also Tyree St. Louis and those 2 guards that are gone were abused in this game.

Remember last year when 98 percent of this site swore that Rosier was a better QB than Kaaya. Cribby is some old fart that is one fall away from the nursing home.
Rozier without our defense lose 8 out of the 10 games we won. Even in the bowl game against Wisconsin if he doesn't throw those
Interceptions on the first play off of a turnover we win that one to. He was trying to be a quarterback in that game that's why we lost. He really thought he won those games
I mean throw the ball right in a lineman hands was crazy. and this guy says rozier
Was better than who??? He was our worst qb ever at least we knew kirby stunk and he knew to, but this guy really thought he was a qb. I mean stop playing baseball to concentrate on football, for what!!
