Who is in the Miami Hurricanes' 16-Team Bracket of the Players Era Tournament?

The Miami Hurricanes basketball squad is going out west for a 16-team tournament.

The boys are going to the 16-team Players Era circuit during Thanksgiving week, which is hosted in Las Vegas, NV, where games previously been played at MGM Grand Garden Arena and Michelob Ultra Arena.

The Hurricanes were in the ESPN Invitational last season, but the Players Era tournament is becoming the biggest tournament there is, with the winner of the 16-team tournament receiving an additional $1 million in NIL money, which brings the total potential payout to roughly $2 million. So it could help Miami out big time.

The tournament is new to College basketball, as the event has only been around for two years. Michigan and the Oregon Ducks won the first two Players Era titles, with Oregon winning it in 2024 and the defending national championship winning it in 2025.

This is a big step ahead for the Hurricanes, and even bigger for the schedule, as it provides Miami with an early test on the season.
