Where Does Miami Stand in the latest Bracketology after two Straight Losses?
Despite back-to-back losses to Clemson and Florida State, the Miami Hurricanes didn’t take much of a hit in Joe Lunardi’s latest Bracketology update.
Following the two-game skid, including a Quad 3 loss to Florida State, Lunardi updated his projections Friday morning and still listed Miami as a No. 10 seed. The Hurricanes have had that same seed line for much of the past couple of months, but their margin for error is shrinking.
Lunardi currently slots Miami as a 10-seed in the Midwest Region. The top half of that region features UConn as the No. 1 seed, along with Florida (4) and St. John’s (5), while the Hurricanes land in the bottom half of the bracket.
While Miami has managed to hold its position for now, another slip-up, especially in a “gimme” game, could send the Hurricanes sliding down the seed list.
