Miami downed the Missouri Tigers in a 80-66 contest on Friday night. Tre Donaldson led the Hurricanes in scoring with 17 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
Miami started to pull away late, and you could fill it in the building. Missouri fans started to hit the exits, and by then, it was Miami’s partying that did the deal.
Inside the locker room, the energy was electric. Hurricanes small forward Marcus Allen (a former Missouri player) helped punch Miami into the Round of 32, where they’ll face the Purdue Boilermakers.
Marcus Allen played in a couple of games for the Hurricanes this season, averaging a total of 5.3 points per game and 3.1 rebounds. He than missed the remainder of the 2025-26 season after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
