Just a guess. Brightened the shadows because of the dark unies to bring out some detail. This makes them look flat or foggy as you put it. They may also look great on another computer. Monitors can be all over the place.

I picked a good game to go to!! Crowd was awesome!!! Next week will be insane. Koodos to everyone but especially the O-line. They did great. ***see long completion to Richards*** Had all day back there
