I am excited to see what he can do with Jordan, Mallory and Irvin.
I love what I have seen on film with other TE's.

I’ve spent to much time as senior executive type for all that detail, but if I wanted the short version I guessing it would be : we did good and it might be okay. Stole from Saban and not face book friend hire is what jumped out for me. You must be the master of power point presentation.

Lance always gets me. Alright, crown Manny. We're ******* again.

Great wok Lance.....again.

From reading your review it seems my initial thoughts on this hire are correct. While we may not put up ridiculous numbers like a Big 12 type spread attack, Enos may very well run a scheme that is much harder to stop. This is more of a pro-style modern offense that uses deception and scheme to get kids open rather than a Briles type spread everyone out in space hurry up. Briles can be stopped if you've got enough athletes to match up all over the field. Enos uses scheme to get guys open and it does not matter how good an athlete you are, you simply can't cover two receivers. He had no problems putting up big numbers against big time cfb d's in the SEC west.

I was watching a game from Arkansas vs LSU. At one point the commentators said that they had scored TD’s on 16 of the last 17 red zone attempts.

Also they were on a streak of 24 straight drives (over multiple games) where they hadn’t gone 3 and out. Can you imagine that? It seemed like the last few years we were 3 and out over 50% of the time.

This is absolutely a great hire and I believe that Enos won’t leave unless it’s a great job, not some middle of the road program.

I’ve been excited since the hire, I watched a lot of Arkansas and thought he was a great fit here. My concern is that he will be a one and done as our OC. I hope I’m wrong on that.
Hopefully there's a large buyout in that case to parlay into another good hire

Funny that Fedora, at least according to the metrics alone, has been the least successful

I believe he will implement the "pace-and-space". As u said he is a great offensive mind and great offensive minds scheme around the talent, not the opposite. It will be interesting to see how Manny's and Enos' egos are able to coexist.

One of the things that we have heard is that Enos may have been hampered a little bit by the philosophies of the head coaches he previously worked under. One of his stated reasons for coming here was the vision that Manny laid out.

If Enos has more in him, we should see the most innovative, experimental, energetic, fun, and creative Enos that football has ever seen.

Based on what we’ve learned about him so far, there is a very solid foundation to start from. If he can be as creative as he wants to be, Manny could be unleashing a beast in this program with a bunch of energy and freedom to explore and exploit.

I’m cautiously excited.

Season ticket renewal is on its way. See y’all at the spring game if my baby mama will cooperate. We’re due April 3, so it might not be an option. Manny get this thing on ESPN!!!

As long as he adjusts the offense to the present talent and not the other way around we should be fine. I hope he's learned from his past trends of hb dive on 2nd and 10 on incompletions. Overall though this makes me feel much better about the hire as Enos was mostly unknown to me. Excellent article. Keep up the good work.

Only issue with Lances write up is that dunce ghost posted before the inevitable second post by lance.

What a rookie.

Excellent work as always. How do you think our personnel fits (or doesn’t) what he wants to do? My biggest concern is we don’t have the guys to run this stuff.
Well, biggest concern is at QB, OL, other than that RB can catch at run, FB can catch and run, we have good receivers, with a little work and luck this offense could explode. Looking forward to this season.🙌🏿

I've seen it said multiple times that Enos was highly involved in Alabama's play design in 2018. Interesting that Lance saw it for himself in the film breakdown.

Question for you Lance -

Great analysis. Really gets me excited to see what he brings to the table for our guys. One thing that crossed my mind as I read through this - do you think our QBs can pick this up? It seems like you would have to be sharp to absorb all of the nuances of his offense. Our guys have come from needing to learn 6 plays and it is still up for debate as to whether any of them can read a defense. What's your thought on this?

Frankly, I have more optimism for JW to be successful in this system. IDK about Perry. He's been here 2 years and he still can't read the field. Maybe Enos' teaching style will be more effective. No matter what, all of them will have to be all in or they will fail. It is SO important to get an experienced QB in the QB room this season for this reason, too. Jalen Hurts would really be so huge in this respect as not just a role model of maturity but to teach
Biggest worry the QBs. Ur right, JW YES, Kosi, doubtful, fingers crossed for a transfer.
