Can someone shed some light as to why/how bethel "looks the part"? Physically? In his play? Etc.

When Pete posts that Work... we be like....

I know it's not the point of this thread but this is literally my favorite GIF of all time. Especially when the Adams guy comes in and just starts going crazy.

Sounds a lot like the transformation to the Butch staff. These guys want success and know what's on the line. Don't be surprised if it takes longer than a couple of years to get to the playoffs. The "virus" may take a few rounds of penicillin. We'll probably see a couple of first rounders before we see a 'ship. Just my$0.02.

Go Canes!

Will I agree with your sentiment buddy, antibiotics are strictly for bacterial infections. But yes, a few rounds of penicillin to rid ourselves of the Golden Showers Venereal disease.

I didn't know richt had that kind of fire. Love it!

You guys are going to laugh, but I think I understand his mentality. Richt is a strong Christian and when a door closes a new one opens. Georgia shut the door and mamma called and the prodigal son has returned home. The guy is coaching with a chip on his shoulder and Miami is the beneficiary. He's also returning to run the offense and call plays. He's excited to do so. He cleared loves that role when he did it at Georgia. He's also coaching with his son who is clearly in a watch and learn role. This is a great set up for him and I think Hecht and the administration are going to support him and give him whatever he wants within reason. I also think he knows if he does this right he can win a National Championship at Miami. I think we're getting the early 2000s version of Mark Richt. If that's the case, then this is going to be a very fun next 5 to 6 years.

Excellent post, and that's exactly what I'm hoping for. If you have the right mindset, you're never to old to learn or to get better. Hopefully, Richt is a violent competitor and uses the failure at UGA as fuel for what looked like a flickering fire the last few years.

He's a proven playcaller, which is something we haven't enjoyed since the JJ era. That alone should be a huge boost to us, and Richt stated his one regret was not calling plays and actively coaching QBs. He's doing both now, so I'm hoping that's the shot of juice he and we need.

Whoa, so best OC/playcaller since the Great Gary Stevens?!?! Sign me up for some of that

He may know football, but he didn't know what kind of football needed to be played at UM.
D'onofrio knows football very well. There were a few players that didn't understand how the game works. The same can be said pretty much anywhere.

I just don't see it that way.

Do you see the D's stats / performance under D'onofrio? That's all that matters. He severely underperformed. Bottom line.

It's pretty simple, lets see if he can have success anywhere else - or even gets another shot. Right now he seems to be a toxic entity
