My bad, but who do you think Sony most reminds you of?

Really want to hear some responses to this question. Its tough. He does a mix of everything so well. Great stiff arm, great feet and quicks. Good breakaway speed but not great. Vision and instincts are top notch. Without thinking too hard I want to say Doug Martin.

Up to this point, he hasn't run with the lean or inside ability of Doug Martin. Maybe people won't like this, but I looked over a list of every single RB currently in the NFL and his style (in a similar height and [future] stature) most reminds me of Bryce Brown.

Was gonna comment that Though they might have same build he doesnt really run thru tacklers like you would expect if you compared him to Martin. I could see the Brown comparison with his get to the edge style and try to turn the corner. I kinda like it actually

I had that same thought, but I QUICKLY decided against using that comparison in the article. Glad to see we think alike, tho

Again, the Bush comparison was based on a) high ranking status as a recruit and b) potential (hopeful) impact in college, NOT based on style of play.

I know it's not the normal basis for comparison, but I tried something different and it (apparently) missed the mark. Oh well. Back to the drawing board....

Read the post from one of their mods.

Said he thinks Georgia is out in front and says ND is in his top 5 but towards the lower half of that top 5.

Brown is a good comparison. Sony still needs to show that he can improve his toughness running inside (too fit the martin comp) but I think with his size and strength the potential is there.

Initially what made me think of Martin was the stiff arm, build, and other similarities in the open field.

It was a good comparison for impact he could bring/highly regarded recruit he is IMO

Yeah, I prefer to compare prospects in terms of style of play, not impact. Im still not sure who Sony reminds me of.

Another great job Cam.

Sony is the most important recruit in this class, with Clark a close second. The momentum his signing should give us will be huge. This kid is going to be a Cane, we have been on him since 8th grade and with the OL we are putting together he has to be drooling for a chance to run behind them.
