He did an in home already over playing his hand with no DC and trying to get him to sign early. He doesn’t really have another move here.

Remember when we would get 'locks' flipped last minute to rivals?

Good times fellas.

Im telling you this early signing day messes with schools bagmen timing. Im loving this. All the top classes are schools with strong local recruiting bases.

Agreed. It's like this change accidentally helped Miami more than virtually anything else the NCAA could have done.

They might reconsider if the results aren't to their liking...similar to states that get rid of early voting.

South Florida is not great for defensive tackles. So that aspect is unfortunately playing out logically also.

But DT should not be that hard to get.. Go look at the draft.. Brandon Williams from baltimore.. k.short from the Panthers. Michael Pierce Baltimore why can't we find guys like this.. Jesus

Meanwhile one former commit watches from the shadows as commit after commit sign to his dream school as he wonders to himself if it's too late to return the bag
Lol

That dumb **** is sitting somewhere angry & confused staring at his coloring book trying to figure out how to stay in between the lines, while holding a crayon with his whole fist.

Funny thing is, those guys didn't go to big schools. Brandon Williams went to Missouri Southern, Kawann Short to Purdue, and Michael Pierce to Samford. Good ones don't just grow on trees. They either have to be highly ranked, like a Nkemdiche, or just have untapped talent, like an Aaron Donald.

lands in Palm Beach Gardens via Bama’s helicopter. He’s sad to report that Hall has signed with Miami.
Erick Marrero, hopefully in his final day with the site, will be at Southridge for Pope, Scaife, Wiggins at 9AM

Miami has more blue chip recruits (14) than the rest of the Coastal combined (10) for this class. Here is the breakdown since Richt got here:

2018: Miami (14) Coastal (10)
2017: Miami (10) Coastal (15)
2016: Miami (9) Coastal (7)
Total: Miami (33) Coastal (32)

Miami generally always has the most talent in the Coastal but the gap hasn't ever been this big I don't think.

Outside of Vince, dont think any of our great DTs were anything special in HS. I also think with Diaz runningthe D you will see us go back to recruiting athletes with frames to fill into DTs. IMO thats the best way.
