Miami hasn't had as good of a win as UCF did over Auburn since...when?

What has Miami done in beating SavSt, Toledo, UNC, FSU that's that much more impressive than UCF's wins - abd they've played "nobody"...

I'm not a nuthugger, but I feel like many here don't watch anything outside of Miami.

UCF would beat UF.

Gaytors at 1 I'm sorry is laughable. They have a **** offense and will **** the bed against any actual solid team not a hype machine like lsu is.

Count me in on not having a problem with UF being #1. I'm just mad we didn't beat L$U or atleast looked like we belonged on the same field. I wonder what a rematch would look like now.

All.polls are subject to individual opinions . I could care less where the Canes are in FL power ratings at this point. Just want to see them number one on national signing day

Well, what did you see that makes them even in your eyes?
Based on what I have seen half a season and what I have seen from Florida half a season I would say they are pretty much the same. Both have good defenses. Both have offenses that struggle at times and find their rhythm other times. UF may have an advantage on special teams but I think Miami has the coaching advantage. I also think Miami has more young players that are developing and taking leadership roles while UF is leaning more on their upper classmen.
I am not here to argue about who is better. I just find it hard to be convinced that UF is better based on common opponent that had a different context.

Agreed up until that last part. UCF doesnt have the defense to hang around and I don't think their offense would be able to do anything against UF's defense.

Auburn was the 14th best defense in the country last year.

Florida is currently the 19th best defense in the country.

I am not sure why you'd think the #3 ranked offense in the country (last year they were 5th FWIW) wouldn't be able to move the ball.

UCF is a good team, man.

Again because of context, UCF's offensive ranking means much less than their defensive ranking. They play a very weak schedule thus their offense has an opportunity to put up better numbers, conversely those same teams have still had success vs their defense which is more of a detriment to their overall standing as far as I'm concerned.

Again, if you use context, they dropped 34 on Auburn.

No one in the country last year dropped more than 28 on Auburn.

Ya'll are jumping through a lot of hoops to justify your UCF take. The whataboutisms are crazy.

Straight up, they'd put the boots to most schools in the country on any given Saturday outside of a scant few like Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State.

At this point, its like trying to discredit the Chris Peterson Boise teams. I dont know why you'd do it.

Oh, settle down, they beat Auburn LAST YEAR, for the love of Pete, it's irrelevant this year. I'm not saying they're not good, but to overlook their competition is laughable honestly. For you to make a statement about them beating most teams is disingenuous at best considering we all saw ODU take down VT.
UCF has zero impressive wins on their schedule this year and will end the season with the same even if they go undefeated.

It pains me to say this but UCF is the best team in the State.

And please stop with the who have they played BS.

So IYO, strength of schedule matters to everyone but UCF, because last I saw everyone is being judged on who they've played.

I agree we would beat UF if we playedthem but the measuring stick is LSU they smashed us and UF beast them........im pretty sure if we beat LSU and UF lost to them and they were ranked ahead of us people would be mad.......and I would be tight to. I have no problem with them ahead of us. Thought Mullen was a solid hire from jump and thought he fell in there lap cause Chip is trash. One thing with Mullen that will cost him is recruiting................I havent followed what there doing recruiting wise but from what I know hes trash at it and u cant be trash at any of the big 3 in recruiting or u will lose your job in 4 years.

Bruh lsu was trash when they beat us and they still was trash losing to the gaytes. That was a horrible set of circumstances we put ourselves in week 1 lsu, 12, new pieces all over the depth chart, no kosi, I mean the list is endless. Im willing to bet lsu loses another 4 at the least.

UCF should have a good game this weekend. They're a 4 point favorite @Memphis. Last year's UCF/Memphis conference championship game was a ridiculous shootout. Neither of those teams can stop a nose bleed.

Let's be real, Both UF and UM would both be undefeated had they played UCF's schedule so far so I'm not putting any stock into the "undefeated" argument. Their non conference schedule is ranked 125th. So not only do they play in a junior league conference, they're not playing anybody good out of conference.

I went to UCF and have followed the program for years. What they're doing is great and I give them credit for everything they're doing but one win against a 4 loss Auburn team that had no interest playing in that consolation prize.com bowl does not a national champion make.

Shocked that UF didn't give up a sack to LSU, guess their OL is an absolute sham
