Silvera will visit in January

Nesta Silvera is moving his visit from this weekend to January, he told me tonight. None of the American Heritage targets for Miami are early signees, so this could end up being a positive for Miami in their recruitment of Tyson Campbell, Patrick Surtain, and Andrew Chatfield. That crew is expected to visit together in January.

If we were to lose Jobe and gain PC, PS2, and ASJ... that is a trade off im willing to accept!

So I know the Heritage group is visiting in January, but is there any news on them visiting unofficially this weekend with the rest of the guys on official visits. I know they wouldn't be able to do some of the things with the coaching staff, but they can still be part of the parties on campus (if there are any since the semester is over)

The way I look at I‎t, they are trying to bring in at least one more DB. If they lose Jobe, then they would want 2.

You take Campbell&Surtain in any scenario. You could get Campbell and not Surtain or you could get both but you won’t get Surtain and not Campbell.

Asante Samuel could visit this weekend, I was just told. Bethel will visit January 26th, and Keidron Smith is another possibility.

I think the odds of getting Surtain are pretty slim regardless but there's 0% chance if Campbell doesn't sign.

I don't see this as good at all. Silvera being here this weekend is what would be good. If he doesn't early commit he's at risk period. I trust Pete but he bases his opinions on what kids tell him. Surtain- late flirtation. We'll see. Campbell- Somebody give me any tangible evidence that he's acting like he's coming here. Chatfield? If he wanted the offer why no commit? These Heritage kids have ripped our hearts out for a lot of years. I'm not counting on any of them.
