Anything new on 6?

From what I've gathered, no one has known **** about 6 this entire process. And still don't seem to. No shot at Pete.... no one else seems to have a clue, either, other than Warchant folks saying his mom loves Jimbo.

I'm ready for this recruiting cycle to be over with. Ready for spring football...

Lockley is a classic Beamer recruit. Plays everywhere in high school...bring'em in and find a spot for him. In VaTech, I could have seen this guy developing into the flanker spot in the same way they used Marcus Davis, who grew to a 6-4, 237 pound wide out, or Ernest Wilford.

For some other teams, those types of guys would be asked to develop into a move tight end. But, I can see that type of player with this guy. I think his development depends on his willingness and ability to block. In the case of Davis or Wilford, they didn't want to or couldn't block...so they fit in in that flanker role nicely.

and even that ain't 100%

Yeah... I put very little stock in all that noise. But I haven't even seen any Miami folks really claim to know ANYTHING about where he's at.

Marcus Davis runs a 3.9 though. Lockley would do the same if he went to VT. At UM, Lockley will probably be no faster than 4.55.

You don't think maybe playing Lockley on Defense? LB or SS ? Just asking, was really impressed with his highlight video either way..I'll take him at TE don't get me wrong but seems like we have so many. And I know we are recruiting Vincet Jackson from tampa at TE too.

Lockley has better size too imo.

How ironic though about Bryant's mom when the recruiting process started how she didn't want him at Miami and now she's done a 180 and wants him here.

Need Bostwick.

She probably feels he should be close to see his daughter.....you know, like a good father.

He would never get those years back with his daughter at her age. Every six months is different and special. Daddy's little girl. Nothing more important.

At UM he would play on a better football team going in the right direction. Have an opportunity to get a world class education and hang out with his little girl a couple or more times a week. Could not get the same education or see his girl at FSU.

Once kids get at a certain age they would rather hang out with their friends unless they need money.

Alex Collins coaches not going up can go either way

1. he is going to ARK and coach doesn't want to be next to him when the decision is made so people dont' start to go after him again

2. he is picking Miami and the coach is ****ed

3. he is letting Alex have this moment and not take anything away form his moment

I am picking #3

Man I don't know but I see a D End.

Kid has a grown man's body and that frame will support a **** of alot more weight. You put that athleticism on the edge and tell him to sick the quarterback.

I trust wherever Golden decides he fits best but I'd like to see him at D End.

One way or the other...decide early and get him coached up there. It feels like lately every time we've brought in one of these guys in between positions we manage to ***** it up and put him in the wrong spot (Armstrong is a perfect example).

Just another example of the Failure that cloaked Shantard.

TIWIW but in speaking to someone very, very connected with the FSU staff 6 has pretty much assured them that he is going to FSU. Again I'm no Pete or any insider but that's just what was told to me.
