Coral Gables, FL. - The hype train surrounding Shelton Henderson headed into his sophomore year has officially hit new highs.
This morning, July 28, CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein included the 6 foot 6 forward on his First Team Preseason All-ACC list, joining Louisville’s Flory Bidunga, Virginia’s Thijs De Ridder and a Duke duo of Patrick Ngongba and John Blackwell.
Henderson started all 35 of Miami’s games during his freshman season, recording 14PPG, 5 rebounds and 2 assists on 56.7% shooting. Shelton rose to the occasion when post season lights got bright, recording the following stat lines during the ACC Tournament and March Madness:

As the off-season continues, the biggest growth the sophomore superstar from Houston needs to improve upon is developing his 3 point shooting from a subpar 25%.
