Recruits React to Miami's bowl win

The Hurricanes won their first bowl game in 10 years with a 31-14 win over West Virginia. I will post reactions from recruits as I get them.

Deejay Dallas: "Quote me directly! "WE ARE BACK! College football need to take heed because the U ain't nothing to play with anymore"

D.J. Johnson: "I Been called it. That DLine is nasty"

Trajan Bandy: "They played so good. I can't wait to get in with that defensive group and go to work."

Amari Carter: "It was an exciting game, was into it the whole time. We executed well."

If we can get Hall and Campbell to go along with our other commits, this DB class will be the best ever.

That would be excellent news. Hall, Frierson and Jobe as a S class would be a top notch one....

This win was the best thing that could've happened. We take that L yesterday and the vibe would be totally different.

Hall commiting would be huge for the 2018 class. Hopefully it creates a topple down effect that would strengthen our bond with Jobe, Frierson, Campbell, Jobe, etc.. Blades should be a Cane lock.

All of these dudes are savages. Would be a legendary haul.

Gurvan Hall and Gilbert Frierson are perfect, and I mean perfect, Safeties for what Manny Diaz wants to do on defense. The versatility they bring would allow Manny to be even crazier with his attack. Shame guys like that will only be True Frosh when the obscene trio of LBs are already Juniors.

Hopefully, we continue to stack guys on DL and LB, because as we finally get DB recruits the way we should, the freedom Manny gives that front 7 multiplies exponentially. This year, I cringed a little every time there was a deep cutback or a Safety had to range over more than 1/4 of the field.

In the future, with guys like Hall and Frierson, Diaz easily moves between 2-read and Cover 3 without skipping a beat.

Yeah, nothing helps recruiting like wins. That's the easiest way to get recruits attention.

Yea Blades needs to head this class, you had your fun with other teams now close up shop and rep Miami. I want the Blades that threw up the U on FSU home field.

guys like Derrick Smith and Amari Carter are so big already...they will grow into LBs and will swtich positions by the time Hall/Frierson get on campus. we NEED these two to ink with us. would be the best two safeties we've gotten in a looooooooooong time.

Blades' father is a legend, and I wouldn't turn away a kid like him. But he's still very raw from what he showed vs. Bingham UT. I thought he had more recovery and closing speed. In 7x7 highlights, he's a monster. But I didn't see it in pads, at least in that game. He had a rough night. I think Campbell is the best of the CB prospects.

Don't care to give WV players time of day, but I was at the game and during warm-ups, whoever wore jersey #1 for the Mountainers was throwing the classic upside down "U" and trying to taunt the Canes fans in the endzone. He was also the recipient of the Pinckney's lame "targeting" penalty and several hard hits after trying to return some kickoffs/punts.

Ex-Cane Antonio Crawford wears number 1 for WVU but they may have double numbers on the team.

These posts are the best. Hall & Frierson and every other DB recruit should be drooling over this Defense. It will only get better with them on board. This where the game is going. Teams are too good To sit back wait for mistakes. FORCE THE ISSUE! We're are close. A few more SFla studs and it's on.
