Collins is much better than Green. I hope Golden and Co spend more time focusing on Collins than Green and get him back in the fold!

Lane is close to Herb, who just had a monster game. let's hope Herb can pull his boy in and sell him the Golden philosophy.

2014 needs to be like the 2008 class where we landed **** near every top kid from down here. 2012 was good as well but it was not as strong of a class as 2008.

Hopefully not too much like 2008's results.

2008 class could be the most over rated in the history of college football, lol.

If we close on the top 2013 and 2014 targets, **** is about to get REAL.

All he is saying is that we need to land the top rated kids like we did then. Doesn't mean it will turn out the same.

As for Burns, if mom makes that trip in January, I think we are in trouble.

The interesting thing about the whole scenario is that other than Green, no other names have really emerged as far as heavy interest from the Miami side. The staff is inquiring about a few kids, but nothing concrete like Green, which could mean they feel confident about their chances.

First off, thanks, Pete! Good stuff. Secondly, Cook is impressive - he appears to have a gear that very few have. He seems to get faster as he gets going. Is he a track guy?

Lastly, regading your comment above, maybe they haven't pursued anyone else at RB b/c they don't feel strongly about anyone else but they do have several they feel strongly about in the 2014 class (Sony, Cook, et al). With schollies being at a premium shortly, definitely do not want them to settle for a RB. Just a thought.

All of that sounds like a bright future to me. Can you imagine a backfield with Duke, Green or Collins, Cook, and Sony?
