Miami will not stop recruiting Jerry Jeudy. At all.

If Marco Wilson is choosing UM, then the staff is not aware of it.

Jordan Wright and DeAndre a Wilder - if they committed right now, Miami would take them. Both of them are playing with fire though. Neither of them have much time left to decide before Miami moves on. Jon Ford, Wright's Dillard teammate, told me this week that Jordan would be committing to Miami soon. His desire to play basketball at the next level as well could be problematic.

Staff is about to get active with Jeremiah Holloman. Big riser on the board.

Mike Harley - I would say he's next in line for an offer at receiver. If Devontae Smith commits though? We will see

Bradley Jennings, Jr - Although he delayed his announcement, I'm still pegging him to Miami. Coaches think he would be the toughest recruit in the class

I think harley is the real deal does he a real offer or just pending offer?
I agree he would eat up a lb or ss trying to cover him out the slot .

Defenses typically don't come out in base formations when an offense has 3wrs on the field. Most wrs can eat up Lbs or SS out of the slot. It really isn't saying much. I want wrs that can eat up CBs in the slot and on the outside. Harley probably is worth an offer, but I think the reason they haven't is because we have Berrios and just took Bruce last cycle. It isn't crazy for a staff to want receivers >5'10".

You RS honest question how does the WR class look in 2018 for slot? Berrios is gone soon and Bruce gets hurt than who plays the spot?

So as far as Marco Wilson is concerned Peter doesn't think he's choosing Miami because the Miami staff doesn't have any idea if they are the choice. So hopefully the UF staff would be saying the same thing, and Marco is just being extremely quiet to both sides about who he is actually choosing, and only he and his dad know, that way its a real surprise.
Oh State & USC are in it too, he's making his decision on Monday, if it was us I'm sure within 48-72 hours of his decision the staff would know if he's coming.
That would be kind of f*cked up on Chad's part to not tell the staff until the day of, if it was Miami.

Why would that be ****ed up in any way? It's not like they wouldn't accept his commitment. These kids constantly want publicity and want to have these grand announcements. Well the only way to guarantee it doesn't leak before hand like Jeudy's just did is to not tell anyone.
It would be messed up because Chad is supposed to be one of us & he was with this staff coaching at Paradise. Therefore, if Marco was coming, it would behoove him to at least inform the staff that he's coming, and just simply tell them to keep it quiet & act is if they don't know beforehand.

If he told the staff then it wouldn't be much of a secret...Chad knows how the recruiting world works, and if they told ANY coach where he would be committing to, then we would find out before the announcement. He is using his son to endorse his show/website/recruiting services and wants his decision to be completely unknown.

Edit: Sam Bruce, DJ Dallas, Ahmmon Richards, and Jerry Jeudy all had big announcement parties, and we all knew or had a huge idea on where they were going prior to the announcement. Just like we all knew Brandon Jennings was getting ready to flip to Miami.

No problem with keeping it quiet. Never know if it might accidentally leak. Maybe staff does know and staff hasn't told anyone outside their small group. Maybe only Richt knows. Dad wants to promote his business as well so he is hoping to maximize its exposure.

Marco Wilson is a more important recruit to Miami than Jerry Jeudy is. CB is #1 position of need.

I probably agree. We really need a CB or two that can come in and play a lot right away. Jeudy is no doubt a huge talent, but I think we'll be ok at WR.

It doesn't have to be a short receiver in the slot. Richards/Cager/Dingle/Njoku(Evidence)/Harris/Mullins can all play on the outside. I could see any of our Swag16 recruits taking snaps in the slot.

You don't need a short guy to play the slot receiver position. That is what a lot of people seem to believe, but just isn't true. Stacy Coley can play the slot WR position, and play it well. Basically you just can't be really big and slow. I'm not saying Cager is ever going to be a slot WR, but there is absolutely nothing stopping Bruce or Mullins from being able to play that position. As far as the 2018 class is concerned, Wiggins and Pope seems pretty good.

And lets not play the what-if-injury game. What if Bruce never gets hurt, and we sign Harley, and Harley never plays a down here?

The wilder/track thing makes no sense at all. From posters stats he's no phenom in track. Plus being on the track team has never stood in the way of football players at UM. Soooo, what else is it. Something hasnt been said. Would we take all 3 lbs though?

I don't understand it either. What's wrong with a kid running track in the offseason? I thought that it would be promoted. Wilder looks like a freak on tape. To me he's a must get

Marco Wilson is a more important recruit to Miami than Jerry Jeudy is. CB is #1 position of need.

That's total BS. Jeudy is an absolute game changer, no way Wilson is more a priority.

Marco being a more important piece than Jeudy is a 100% fact. It has nothing to do with the player, both are good but Jeudy is far ahead the better player.

But the reason Marco would be more important is nothing more than an indicator of how much trouble we are in at CB next season.
