Paul Austria
We are now entering the final stretch of the 2018 NFL season, which means playoff races are starting to tighten up. With that being said, you know some of the former Canes around the league had to show out. Here’s the Week 15 recap of your NFL ProCanes.

Future Hall-of-Famer Frank Gore had only five carries for 14 yards against Minnesota before exiting the game with a left ankle injury that could also force him to miss the last two games of the season for the Dolphins. The Texans had limited success on the ground in their 29-22 victory over the Jets and Lamar Miller was a victim of a stifling New York defense, carrying the ball only three times for eight yards. In a narrow 17-16 win over the Broncos, Browns RB Duke Johnson carried the ball four times for 28 yards to go along with four catches for 25 yards. Gus Edwards ran for 100+ yards for the third time this season to go along with second touchdown on the year as the Ravens continue to solidify the final wild card spot in the AFC playoff race.

In a big win in Kansas City, Travis Benjamin received one carry for eight yards along with two catches for 57 yards as the Chargers now share the top spot in the AFC West with the Chiefs while the latter holds the tiebreaker. Allen Hurns caught one pass for nine yards in an embarrassing loss for the Cowboys, who were shut out by the Colts.

Cleveland’s David Njoku caught three passes on five targets for 30 yards against Denver and the Packers’ Jimmy Graham also had three catches in a loss to the Bears that officially eliminated Green Bay from playoff contention.

Allen Bailey had three tackles for the Chiefs in their 29-28 loss to the Chargers. Jacksonville’s Calais Campbell had seven tackles, two tackles-for-loss, and a sack in their loss to the Redskins. Giants DE’s Olivier Vernon and RJ McIntosh combined for four tackles as New York was blanked by the Titans at home. Anthony Chickillo recorded three tackles and a half tackle-for-loss in the Steelers’ crucial win over the Patriots.

Former Giant and now Cleveland Brown Ray-Ray Armstrong had one tackle in the win over Denver.

S Rayshawn Jenkins recorded a tackle in the win against Kansas City and Bears S Deon Bush also recorded one tackle in the team’s win over the Packers. Pittsburgh’s Artie Burns had two tackles in the Steelers’ win over New England.

The Chargers needed every single one of Michael Badgley’s extra point makes in their 29-28 win. Badgley also added one tackle. The Falcons won big over the Cardinals and Atlanta P Matt Bosher had a busy work day with six punts for 266 yards with a long of 55. Pat O’Donnell had four punts against Green Bay for 177 yards and landed two punts inside the 20.
