Another week of NFL football, another Pro Canes Update. Here we go for week 3.

At the running back position, Frank Gore ran the ball 14 times and gained 76 yards. He also had one touchdown. Duke Johnson only had two carries for a total of two yards.

Braxton Berrios finally did something other than return punts for the Jets. He led the team with two catches for 29 yards this week. Phillip Dorsett continues to put together a great season. Dorsett caught six passes for 53 yards and one score. Allen Hurns caught only one pass for six yards against his former team before exiting the game with a concussion. Finally, Travis Benjamin had two catches for just five yards.

Greg Olsen represented the tight ends well again this week. He totaled six catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns. David Njoku was placed on the IR this week with a broken wrist and concussion.

On the offensive line, Jon Feliciano, Brandon Linder, Ereck Flowers, and Danny Isidora all started for their respective teams.

On the defensive side of the line, Joe Jackson, Olsen Pierre, and Al-Quadin Muhammad each had one tackle. Ufomba Kamalu took snaps for the first time this year and recorded one tackle. Olivier Vernon recorded four tackles, while Allen Bailey had three. The star of the week was Calais Campbell, as he racked up seven tackles and three sacks.

At linebacker, Denzel Perryman finally saw the field after returning from an ankle injury and came up with six tackles.

In the defensive backfield, Rayshawn Jenkins had two tackles while Deon Bush had one.

On special teams, Pat O’Donnell had three punts for 140 yards (46.7 ypp), while Matt Bosher sat with an injury this week.

Kind of ironic that the OL & DL probably take the most heat for struggles - but are Miami's best position groups in the NFL right now.

357+1 Yards to go. Hope he racks them all up vs. the Patriots this weekend.
