Posting an instant reaction podcast soon but here were some of my initial observations from practice #1

Tyler Baron looks HUGE - towering over entire defense Other than Anthony Campbell. Looks like a created player

Elijah Arroyo looking chiseled and lean

Jordan Lyle looks the part - great lower half

Akheem Mesidor looks like he was moving well

Robby Washington bulked up to 195 looking stout - playing receiver

Ray Ray Joseph in the same boat - told me he’s better equipped to take hits

Wesley Bissainthe looks like a LINEBACKER - not an athlete playing LB. Great size he’s added

Bobby Washington and Pruitt huge, Hayes could be special once weight is added - told me yesterday it took him a few weeks to get adjusted during spring but he’s towering

TE Coach Cody Woodiel seemed particularly pleased with two Riley Williams reps

Dyoni Hill pick off Emory Williams

Judd Anderson slant to Chance Robinson

Judd to Shemar Kirk out route towards sideline

Armondo Blount lining up as a defensive end - told me yesterday he’s weighing 264

The grass was particularly green today and the Sun was hot .....15-0...

Was an extremely underrated addition. Was a very good corner for a solid Marshall defense + knows Guidry/Jackson's system.
He is the reason I am a little more bullish than some others on our secondary this year. Played well for a good Marshall Defense and the familiarity with the system is huge. Him and Porter holding down the outside makes me a bit less worried about our CB issues.
