Backfield talent is beginning to look like some Miami teams of old.

Burns was a track star at Gulliver. If you've ever seen him in person you'd know he had some of the biggest legs you'll ever ever see from a high school RB. He's had time to heel, is very fresh, and is running like a power back. I was at the final spring game and his performance, while not jaw dropping, was a site to see. Remember, he was the Lingard type of prospect before we even knew Lingard existed...he was that good, and yes, he's that **** fast.

And DeeJay. That means we have two guys over 220 running like 4.4 or less? We can pound the rock without wearing down the tires. Whoever gets those 4th quarter carries is going to rip long plays.
I can. Dallas has been caught from behind a couple of times. I think he's got a great initial burst / change of direction / elusiveness, but he doesn't have elite long speed.

What's with the Burns homer's. People are mentioning him as sophomore in High School. I hope he turns out great but he has been paper thin since he got here. So far I compare him to Choc Gray. WTF with the hype..

Not like lingard or homer but he has pretty good speed though

I think he has nose for the goal line, is as long as he can score from the 20, it will be vast improvement.

Sorry but Burns is not faster than Homer. Whoever wrote that didn't do their homework after the recent times they did after spring.

<------High on Burns

Anyone at the spring game will tell you he easily had the best inside run game.

Excited for the kid. I hope he stays healthy.

Anyone having a hard time with the fact he may be faster than Homer and Deejay? Ya'll think the staff is just lying? lol

Burns is 225lbs and built like a brick wall I think he’ll have a breakout season in terms of establishing a role in the offense. Power and Goaline formations with him and Realus in the backfield would be nasty.

Ive been waiting on Burns to reach his potential at the college level. If he stays healthy he could be a major threat.

**** Burns is a straight up freak, I didn’t know he was that fast and shifty. If he stays healthy he has the talent to take somebody’s job one day.

Take it from me fighting off a huge linemen maybe a double team and then a 225lb RB knees ramming your a full speed .

Burns could have an All American season.

Including a 130 plus in LSU opener.

Duke Johnson agrees with you. Burns is a freak and had one the best SPARQ scores in history. He is off the charts. Most running backs do get injured. Part of the game.

Are any on the roster better than Duke in your opinion?

We will see they all have that opportunity I eagerly await who grabs it first, but wouldn’t be surprised if we had a stable of beasts just rotating relentlessly.

This rotation of studs on O and D I feel will be our MO relentlessly platooning everyone plays.
