Any chance we quit playing games with Collins and move on to Chestnut and Tice?

Peter,

I heard the Canes were also inquiring about Greg Bryant. Where does he fit in your scenarios?

So Payton, and as well as he played in 03', he wasn't close to top tier here and really only got significant time because Gore got hurt, and I'm a Payton "fan."

Like Larry said, need to look harder because Dade County/SoFla breeds RBs. I really hope we don't miss the boat on Chestnut.

funny thing is, if you compare Chestnut or Dice's film to Dilliard, they arent even in the same ballpark. Both these HS seniors might be better than a RS-FR currently on the team .

Totally unacceptable if we don't land somebody this year.

and not even close to a remote possibility of that happening

This.

You can throw a rock out your window and hit a serviceable South Florida RB.

Numbers are limited this year. Make sure the top priority positions (mainly OL and DL) get addressed, then sort the rest out later.

I'm all in on Tice. I finally got around to watching highlights of all these kids, and I think he'd kill it here. Does he have an offer, Pete?

CCHS kids in back to back classes?

I don't understand why the staff would leave South Florida...nevermind the State of Florida for a RUNNING BACK. Seems silly and a poor use of recruiting time and effort.

I can see making a run at the #1 RB in the country in Green, but agree, more than enough talent in our own backyard. We need to get a good 1.

Can someone please explain to me why we even have Dillard, wouldn't it have been better to have gone after Radcliffe from Columbus last year or save his spot for chestnut?

Dillard could be solid. I mean his highlight film was actually pretty good in my opinion. I am interested in seeing Green's highlight tape and comparing that with chestnut/tice.
