Ohio State talking plenty of trash ahead of CFP game against Miami

Everybody knew this game was going to have juice, especially with the history going back to 2003. But right now, it’s Ohio State doing most of the talking.

We just saw how this goes last game. A&M talked, Miami stayed quiet, and we all know how that ended.

Now the Buckeyes are coming into this one extremely confident, especially former Chaminade-Madonna standout Jeremiah Smith.

Smith has been doing most of the talking, saying he plans to be “a little chippy” out there, especially with this game being him playing against his home state. Here’s exactly what he said:

“I’m probably the one that’s going to be doing it too. I’m going to be a little chippy out there. I’m bringing it all this week.”

He also took a shot at Miami for continuing to bring up the 2003 matchup:

“They’re still talking about it twenty years later. They’re still worried about it, but we’ve got something for them come New Year’s Eve.”

Talk is cheap. Miami’s already proven what silence looks like. Time to go show it on December 31st.

They are defending champs…they been more relevant….they ranked higher….they can talk that **** for 10 days before the game. Eventually, the time for talk runs out, and you gotta line up 6 inches across from the other team over 4 hours. Miami is navigating the run up to game time really well.

OSU fans are trying to convince anyone that will listen that there’s no need to even watch this game. They have an entitlement (media darlings and annual easy schedule) and superiority complex where they demand complete worship and submission from any opponent’s fanbase. They subconsciously need to feel superior as if that feeling will impact the game. They want the game won off the field of play. They want their opponents terrified going into the game. And if you don’t comply with that expectation then you are delusional and talking trash. Not worshipping them and not expecting to lose is considered trash talk to them.

They are also manufacturing “disrespect” and again, all they can come up with is the fact that we are in anyway confident. Thats “disrespect” of them.

They are TERRIFIED of us. And in interaction with us they require kowtowing. I strongly suggest avoiding engagement with them. They are about to cry.

Glad the trash went up north, and not on our team. Same ish as ND’s self entitled arrogance. They may win when all is said and done, but it won’t be because of all the trash talk. Reality: they have to play our boys first. I like our team. I like our chances. This ain’t 2003 vibes, it’s 1983 vibes.

Sad part is if Smith stays home we win a natty this year going away. What a clown.

All in all it looks like OSU learned from A&M what not to do. If we are calling that talking trash that is pedestrian. Let’s hope they ramp up the snack talk, but as of now it’s nothing. We need one idiot on that Oline to run his mouth.

A couple quotes from the guy playing his home team is Ohio State talking trash? That’s some impressive extrapolation. I haven’t seen anything from the team besides Jeremiah that is talking trash.

As for the fanbase, a large portion thinks we should never lose a game ever, so they will go into everyone confident and talking trash. It is what it is unfortunately. It has no bearing on the team’s mindset though.
