BIG difference between a RAW file and a copy of any image. How about ask him to buy a canvas rather than a RAW file. My clients don't ever get my RAW files.

As a photographer you would know that it needs to be color corrected before its ready to go up, i doubt he would want to do that plus add any graphics. Its not that serious though it is what it is.
