Elijah Arroyo is taking his talents to Seattle, as the Seahawks have selected the former Miami tight end with the No. 50 pick in the second round.
Arroyo is the second former Hurricane to come off the board in the Draft, with Cam Ward previously selected No. 1 overall by the Tennessee Titans.
Arroyo caught 35 passes for 590 yards and 7 touchdowns this season for the Hurricanes. At one point last season, Arroyo's top speed was measured at 21.8 mph. Only six NFL players had a higher max ball carrier speed all season in 2024.
During his four seasons at Miami, he racked up 753 total receiving yards on 46 receptions and scored eight touchdowns.
Elijah Arroyo was highly recruited from Frisco (Texas) Independence High back in 2021. He decided to play college football for the Miami Hurricanes, which brought him back to his hometown.
