Carson Beck is taking his talents to Arizona, as the Cardinals have selected the former Miami quarterback with the No. 65 pick in the third round.
Arroyo was the fourth former Hurricane to come off the board in the Draft, with Francis Mauigoa, Rueben Bain, and Akheem Mesidor all going in the first round.
Beck balled in his only season at Miami, throwing for 3,800+ yards with 30 touchdowns and 12 picks while completing about 72% of his passes. For his full college career, including time with the Georgia Bulldogs, he’s gone for over 11,725 yards, 88 touchdowns, and just 32 interceptions.
Beck will now spend his first season as an NFL quarterback in Arizona, where he has a chance to compete for the No. 1 spot for the quarterback position.
After a successful one year season at Miami, Beck is now a Cardinal.
